Aarre Joutsenvirta

Aarre Joutsenvirta (1957) has worked as a lecturer in music theory for the Sibelius Academy, Helsinki, Finland, since 1989 (as the department head from 2001 to 2004). He has also worked as a music teacher (1982–93), choir leader (1994–2007), and orchestra conductor (since 1986). He is also active in various organisations in the music theory field.
