Arts for policy making – the making of artful creation

Throughout history, art and culture have been indisputable parts of human life in our societies. Their roles have shifted from aesthetics, communicating with gods, spirits or intuition to envisioning what we can’t explain through words, and hence create realities beyond what science can prove.

In today’s society, we lean strongly on seemingly rational arguments in our decisions, even knowing there are numerous factors that affect the daily decisions we make.

We need ways to become aware and share knowledge beyond the known in order to envision further than tomorrow, and paint a future broader than the facts we have at hand.

Our society has stood on one foot long enough.
