After years and years in a long narrow space I have now entered an open space
My final work Long Narrow Space is an installation which consists of three still frame animations, texts and something that I guess no one would expect from me. That something has a name: All My Darlings. A couple of months ago I wouldn’t have believed that I would ever do something like that. “Ever” is a very strong word, I’m of course aware of that.
Today is the 24th of March, and I actually haven’t done it yet. But as I’m now announcing it in this catalogue, it’s clear that I have to do it. It’s not easy for me to do, but as I’m motivated, I will JUST DO IT. I guess no one wants to fail in this exhibition – it’s possible that quite a few people will see the final exhibition of the Academy of Fine Arts.
