Icebreakers create paths for other ships. They built connections, make reachable what otherwise would be unreachable. To break the ice, the icebreakers either drive straight into the ice or drive onto it and break it under their weight, if the ice is too thick.
Also human icebreakers exist. They break the ice between people and create connections.
How can this ice be broken?
