I am intrigued by visual phenomena occurring in our everyday environment. With my art, I explore different ways of perceiving and constructing these phenomena.

I work with multiple media in parallel, switching by turns between photography, drawing and painting. I find this approach productive, with the different techniques feeding each other. My artistic disposition is that of an explorer. I want to constantly explore the new and the unknown. 

The main thing is working, and challenging yourself. And being creative in a way that leads you to your next challenge and new object of interest. I want to be surprised and awed by the painting process, over and over again. I often spend years processing the same themes – they seem to keep circling in my mind, continually resurfacing.
