It is impossible to stop something that is moving far away, when you are going to the other direction. The scene is moving away, disappearing.
I am watching two girls play with their hair. Their locks become intertwined, entangled, knotted. I observe the situation, and when I get back home, I draw a series of lines into my notebook, trying to remember what it was that I saw. Much will be forgotten.
I let go, ask the models to look at each other, and take a picture. I am happy if they are able to forget me, even for a while. The picture may emerge again; that which was lost will once more be found.
