Painting

1980, Imatra

The most essential things:

- intuition and spontaneity:

Motion and tempo become confined if your visions are too clear or they are verbalised too precisely.

- humaneness and incompleteness:

Painting is an eternal process, which continues from one work to the next. Includes the concepts of “suggestion” and “the beauty of surplus (waste material)”. The fact that you don’t think that you’re special.

And that you don’t hold back.

- colouredness and light

Is everything.

I was accepted as a student eight years ago.

During this time, I have transformed from a child-hater to a mother of two lovely kids, and from a person who fears other people to a normal one.
